CultureLink Singapore
Creative Producers Development Programme
CultureLink initiated and launched the Creative Producers Development Programme in December 2014, a training programme supported by NAC aimed at nurturing highly motivated and committed individuals to play the role of a creative producer in Singapore.
The Programme comprises three components to support individuals currently working as independent intermediaries or those working within an arts organisation.
- An 8-week overseas residency with an international host company in either Beijing, London or New York;
- Participating in an international performing arts market to engage and network with artists, producers, presenters, artist managers and policy-makers from around the globe;
- Realise a personal creative project with mentorship and guidance from an experienced panel of Singapore creative producers. The participant may develop the project with further funding support from the National Arts Council.
The Programme is managed by CultureLink and led by Executive & Artistic Director Ms. Goh Ching Lee who will also serve as a mentor for the participants.
Five participants were selected and completed over 2015-2017.
