Singapore International Jazz Festival

The inaugural edition of the Festival was held at the stunning Marina Bay Sands from 27 February to 2 March 2014.  The Festival is supported by two world-class partners from the leisure and entertainment industries, the Marina Bay Sands and Java Jazz.

The first edition saw a star-studded line-up of jazz artists and bands that included Jamie Cullum, Gregory Porter, James Morrison, Natalie Cole, and groups like Earth, Incognito, Earth Wind & Fire Experience, Roy Hargrove and India Arie. The Festival also celebrated Singapore jazz featuring Jeremy Monteiro with the Asian All-Stars Power Quartet, The Steve McQueens, Qilin Quartet, among others.

To help support a thriving jazz community in Singapore, the Festival also established the SING JAZZ CLUB that features year round jazz music four days as week, and the SING JAZZ ACADEMY providing professional clinic, master classes, and coaching by a faculty or artists and teachers to nurture young jazz musicians for the duration of the Festival.

CultureLink is the Festival Advisor to the organiser Orbis Festival Productions Pte Ltd, contributing to the overall festival’s strategic development and operations.
